Ciampino Airport Terminal Map

Ciampino Airport was first opened in 1916, being one of the oldest airports in the world still operating. It used to be Rome’s main airport before opening Leonardo da Vinci – Fiumicino Airport, which nowadays is the main international gateway of the city. It wasn’t until 2007 that the airport facilities were upgraded in order to host low-cost carrier services, mainly of Ryanair and Wizz Air airlines.

Ciampino Airport has a single passenger terminal for both domestic and international flights.

Levels

Ciampino Airport has just a single level distributed into the following way. Even counting with a single level, the boarding section is located in an upper level:

- Arrivals: On the left side of the airport facilities there is the Arrivals Hall. This section is split into the Schengen and the non-Schengen Arrivals. Find in the central part of the terminal the baggage reclaim area, on the far south, the ground transportation options (bus, car rental and taxi) and on the north part the passport control in order to access to Departures. Services available: Information desk, toilets (also accessible), food and drink concessions, currency exchange, lost & found office.

- Departures and Check-in: The Departures and the Check-in hall is located on the right side of the main terminal. This section contains the boarding gates A1 to A10 and B1 to B8. You can access to the boarding gates by lifts and escalators, since they are located in an upper level.

Find in the central part of the hall the information counter and many more services such as ticket counters, toilets, food, drink and retail concessions and currency exchange. After clearing the ticket inspection, you’ll be able to free access to the boarding gates.
