From Ciampino Airport you can connect to several railway services which can lead you to Rome within a relatively short time.

See below the recommended options to transfer by train to Rome:

Atral Bus

This bus line connects Ciampino Airport with Ciampino Station within 5 minutes. Once at Ciampino Station, you can easily transfer to Roma Termini Station, where you’ll be able to get to the city centre.

Opening hours: Frequency is of 40 minutes.

- From Ciampino Airport to Ciampino Station: Weekdays (From 5:20 am to 23:30 pm), Weekends (From 6:40 am to 23:35 pm).

- From Ciampino Station to Ciampino Airport: Weekdays (From 5:50 am to 22:20 pm), Weekends (From 7:40 am to 22:20 pm).


You can board this bus outside the Arrivals Hall of the main terminal.


Single ticket fare is of € 1.20.

Where can I buy my ticket?

You can purchase your ticket at the information booth located in the Arrivals Hall in Ciampino Airport, on board to the driver or through Atral Bus website.

Ciampino Station – Roma Termini Station

From Ciampino Station, it is possible to get to Rome city centre by regional train routes, the so called FL4 (Rome – Ciampino – Frascati / Albano / Velletri) and FL6 (Rome – Cassino – Caserta), operated by Trenitalia.

You can get within 15 minutes to Roma Termini Station for just € 1.50 (single ticket fare).
